You ever have one of those days where you wake up and you just aren’t feeling it? I know I have, we all have. We just want to lay back down in bed and hide under the covers from the rest of the world. This is how I kinda feel today, as I’m sitting in my room with the fan on high, not really knowing what to write about, and thinking of how hot it is here in Philly, I keep thinking just want to be lazy today. So what do you do to get yourself out of a funk such as this?
Just Do It
The mind and body are amazing things. When you’re feeling lazy or tired start off doing a task for say ten minutes. Your body will begin to warm up, dust off the rust and before you know it you’ll be fully immersed in whatever you’re doing. If the rare chance happens that you feel that you just aren’t up for it…no need to push yourself to the point of no return, just stop. There’s no sense in putting in minimum effort and expecting a maximum return. Just keep in mind that tomorrow you have to make a dedicated effort to pick up the slack. There is truly nothing wrong with taking a day of rest, everyone needs it so listen to what your body is telling you.
